MISSISSAUGA SOD INSTALLATION
Mississauga's Prep-First Sod Crew
Most sod failures start before the first roll comes off the truck. Mississauga sits on the Halton-Peel till plain, where clay stays wet through spring, sets like brick by August and gives a new lawn very little room to root. Lay fresh turf over that without fixing the surface, and you get seams that open up, low spots that stay wet, and a yard that looks tired within a few seasons.
Right On Sod works from the ground up. We look at the slope, the soil and the old lawn first, then tell you what your yard needs. Some jobs need only a clean surface and a careful rake. Others need the old turf cut out, soil brought in and the grade corrected so rain drains clear of the house. You hear which one applies, in plain language, before you agree to anything.
We install, replace and level lawns for homeowners in Mississauga, Brampton and south Caledon. Our crews are WSIB-covered and carry liability insurance, and every quote starts with a real number instead of a sales call.
WHAT WE DO
Our Services
Three core services, one calculator, and no pressure to buy more than your yard needs.
Sod Installation
For bare ground, new builds and yards torn up by construction. We prepare the surface, lay fresh-cut Kentucky Bluegrass and leave you with a finished lawn, not a seeding project.
Explore sod installationSod Removal & Lawn Replacement
When weeds, grubs or years of wear have won, overseeding stops making sense. We lift the worn turf, truck it off, repair the soil and start over.
Explore lawn replacementGrading & Levelling
Bumps, dips and slopes that run toward the house make every lawn harder to keep. We reshape the surface so water moves and new sod lies flat.

Why Mississauga Homeowners Call Right On Sod
Soil Before Sod
Nothing goes down until we have checked the slope and what sits under the surface. Ignored clay is behind many of the lawns that fail here.
Cut Fresh, Laid Fast
Sod loses quality the longer it sits on a pallet. We time each delivery to the job, so rolls go down fresh instead of drying out in your driveway.
A Number Up Front
The calculator gives you a range before anyone visits. The site visit confirms it, and nothing starts until you approve a written quote.
Covered and Insured
Our crews are WSIB-covered and carry liability insurance, so your property and the people working on it are protected.
BUILT TO LAST
A New Lawn Starts Under the Sod
Sod is the visible part of the job, and the easy part to get right. What decides whether a lawn lasts is the few inches underneath it. Roots need loose soil to grow into, a surface that sheds water, and full contact with the ground below each roll. On compacted clay, roots stay shallow, summer heat reaches them quickly, and the grass browns first wherever the soil is hardest.
That is why our quotes spell out the prep. We clear the surface, loosen what has been packed down, set the levels and add soil where the yard needs it. If the ground falls toward your foundation, we correct that before a single roll goes down. The sod is then laid with its joints offset like brickwork, rolled firmly into the soil and given a first soak.
The payoff shows up later. A lawn rooted in loose soil needs less babying through a dry July, bounces back faster after heavy use and leaves weeds fewer gaps to exploit. That is worth more than a lower price per square foot, and it is why we would rather explain the prep than skip it.

GOOD TO KNOW
Common Questions
What areas do you serve?
We work across Mississauga and Brampton, and in south Caledon around Mayfield West and Valleywood. If you are near the edge of that range, send your address through the quote form and we will confirm whether we can reach you.
When could my lawn go in?
Sod can go down whenever the ground is not frozen, so the season usually runs from spring into late fall. Spring dates fill fastest. We will give you a realistic date at the site visit, and booking early gives you the best choice.
Is your crew insured?
Yes. Our crews are WSIB-covered and we carry liability insurance. If you need proof for your records, ask and we will provide it before work begins.
What happens if the new sod has a problem?
Our 14-Day Fresh-Cut Sod Guarantee covers the sod itself: it is guaranteed weed-free and healthy upon delivery and installation, with proper watering. If something looks wrong in that window, call us and we will come and look.
Can I get a price before you visit?
Yes. The calculator on our quote page gives you a range based on your yard size and the service you choose. That range is an estimate, and the final price is confirmed once we have measured the yard and checked the ground.
