Lawns Finished by Our Crews
Every photo on this page shows a lawn laid by Right On Sod. Look past the colour and notice the details that take skill: joints you can no longer find, clean edges along driveways and beds, and even mowing stripes on grass that has rooted well.
All of these lawns are in Clarkson, in the southwest corner of Mississauga, and each photo's location was checked before it went up. They are grouped by what you can see in them: landscaped front yards, lawns growing under big shade trees, bungalows and split-levels, two-storey homes, and slopes and striped lawns. House numbers and licence plates are blurred to protect our customers' privacy. As we finish more projects across Mississauga, Brampton and south Caledon, those will be added here too.
When you look at any contractor's photos, it helps to know what good sod work looks like. The seams should disappear within a few weeks, with no ridges or gaps where two rolls meet. Edges should run in clean lines along driveways, walkways and garden beds. The colour should be even, without yellow strips that suggest a roll sat too long before it went down. And the surface should look flat from the street, because a yard that dips or rolls was probably not levelled first.
A good lawn starts with what you cannot see in a photo: the grade, the soil and the prep. Ask us about that part too. When we visit your yard, we will explain what we would do under the surface before the first roll goes down, and why it matters on the soil you have. Good sod work should look simple at the end, because the hard part is already buried under your feet.
