Our Core Services

Sod Installation

The right choice when there is no lawn to save. New builds, bare lots, yards opened up by a pool or addition, and seeded areas that never filled in all land here. We clear the ground, correct the surface and lay Kentucky Bluegrass grown on Ontario farms. Homeowners usually choose this when they want a finished lawn this season instead of a year of waiting on seed. It also solves the mud problem right away, which matters if you have kids, pets or a move-in date coming up.

Sod Removal & Lawn Replacement

The right choice when a lawn exists but has stopped being worth saving. If weeds outnumber grass, grubs have rolled up the turf or years of patching have changed nothing, starting over costs less than fighting it every spring. We remove the old lawn, take it away, repair the soil underneath and lay new sod. Because the yard is fully open during the job, this is also the best moment to correct any dips or slopes that helped the last lawn fail.

Grading & Levelling

The right choice when the shape of the yard is the real problem. Low spots that hold water, bumps that scalp under the mower and ground that falls toward the house will ruin any lawn laid on top of them. We correct the surface and set a slope that moves water where it should go. Grading is usually paired with sod work, since the new lawn then starts on ground shaped to suit it, and both jobs are handled by one crew under one quote.

Commercial Sodding

Property managers, builders and business owners can ask us about sodding common areas, new landscaped strips and larger open spaces. Commercial work is priced by site visit, because access, scheduling and area vary too much for a calculator. Tell us the site and your timeline, and we will come and look. Our crews are WSIB-covered and carry liability insurance, and we can supply proof for your vendor file.

Topsoil

Good soil decides how well a lawn roots, especially on clay. We bring in and spread topsoil as part of sod and grading jobs where a yard needs more depth. Tell us about your project and we will confirm what your yard calls for and quote it on site. On Peel's clay, a better layer of soil can make a real difference to how deep new roots will go.

Overseeding

A thin lawn that is still mostly healthy may not need replacing yet. Overseeding adds new grass to the turf you already have, and it works best when the soil and grade underneath are sound. We will tell you honestly if your lawn is a candidate, or if it has gone past that point. If most of the yard is weeds, or the soil is badly compacted, seed alone is unlikely to change much.
